Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Polson, MT. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care for both mother and baby throughout all phases of obstetric care
• Maintain current BLS and NRP certifications
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Perform sterile vaginal examinations and triage of obstetrical patients
• Circulate for cesarean sections
• Provide labor and delivery nursing care
• Care for neonates, infants, and adult patients
• Work with wireless fetal monitoring equipment
• Utilize JADA device for postpartum hemorrhage management
• Provide newborn care services
• Float to assist with general nursing tasks when no L&D patients present
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:4 as assigned
• Work weekends as required and evenly distributed among nursing staff
• Take call maximum once per pay period
• Complete 24 hours of orientation
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Maintain valid state RN license
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and other support services
• Adhere to compliance documentation deadlines and requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
