Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in skilled nursing facility setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and response to treatments
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, physicians, and therapists
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed
• Observe and report changes in patient status to supervising registered nurse
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies
• Participate in care planning and resident assessment processes
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and families
• Work night shift hours as scheduled
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions within scope of practice
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NM
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
