Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Attleboro, MA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiograms in echo suite with two echo rooms for ICU, ED, inpatient, and outpatient cases • Conduct portable echocardiographic scans in ICU and for COVID+ patients as required • Perform adult acute care and adult outpatient echocardiography procedures • Execute specialized procedures including bubble studies, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and treadmill stress echo • Operate imaging equipment including Philips systems for contrast agent studies • Assess right ventricular inflow tract (RVIT) and right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) • Provide echocardiographic services for patients with diagnoses including aortic stenosis, CHF, atrial fibrillation, and related cardiac conditions • Complete daily caseload of approximately 8 cases per technologist • Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation and patient records • Maintain current BLS certification and RDCS or RCS credentials • Comply with required COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies • Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations • Work 5x8 day shifts from 07:45 to 16:15 • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
