Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Clinton, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing care in Labor & Delivery unit
• Maintain current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Complete required competency testing and skills checklists
• Maintain valid nursing licensure and certificate verification
• Complete mandatory health screenings including physical/health statement
• Obtain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass 10-panel drug screening and fit testing requirements
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Adhere to code of conduct and patient confidentiality agreements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and specialty-specific competency requirements
• Maintain color vision certification
• Complete child and adult dependent abuse training
• Work night shift hours from 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM
• Comply with all organizational policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
