Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Lansing, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for cardiac catheterization procedures including heart caths, coronary and peripheral angioplasties and stents • Manage patients requiring Impella support and assist with structural heart procedures including ASD and VSD repairs • Perform pre and post procedure patient care and holding services • Assist with lytics, embolizations, TEEs, cardioversions, and tilt table testing • Support pacemaker and ICD implantations and monitor patients during procedures • Assist with EP studies and complex ablations, especially atrial fibrillation procedures • Provide care during thoracenteses, paracenteses, and tunneled catheter placements • Respond to STEMI cases and provide emergency cardiac interventional support • Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications • Utilize Phillips equipment and Cerner documentation systems • Participate in on-call rotation one day per week and one weekend per month • Work 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM shifts • Maintain valid Michigan nursing license • Demonstrate strong cardiac proficiency and cath lab experience
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
