Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Lansing, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for cardiac catheterization laboratory patients
• Perform heart catheterizations and coronary/peripheral angioplasties and stent procedures
• Administer lytics and manage embolization procedures
• Provide Impella patient management and monitoring
• Assist with structural heart procedures including ASD and VSD repairs
• Conduct TEEs/Cardioversions and Tilt Table Testing
• Support pacemaker and ICD implantation procedures
• Assist with EP studies and complex ablations, especially A Fib procedures
• Perform thoracenteses and paracenteses procedures
• Assist with tunneled catheter placements
• Provide pre and post procedure patient care and holding experience
• Manage STEMI patients and emergency cardiac interventions
• Utilize Phillips and Cerner systems for documentation and patient management
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Participate in on-call rotation one day per week and one weekend per month
• Work 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM shift schedule
• Maintain valid Michigan state nursing license
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
