Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Springfield, MA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in Labor & Delivery unit
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Utilize LDRP experience in patient care delivery
• Work 36 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday requirements
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct Form and compliance requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information per system security agreement
• Complete specialty specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain current immunization requirements including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and Tdap vaccines
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass physical/health statement and 10 panel drug screening requirements
• Complete criminal background check and maintain clean record
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and maintain NSO coverage
• Complete education verification and maintain valid state nursing licensure
• Work night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
• Complete fit testing and other personal health history requirements
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and system access protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
