Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading SNF in Newport, VT. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in skilled nursing facility setting
• Work night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Deliver comprehensive patient care and nursing assessments
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes in medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care interventions
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Participate in care planning and discharge preparation processes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in VT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
