Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide radiation therapy treatments to patients as a certified Radiation Therapist
• Maintain current RT(R) certification and state licensure
• Work scheduled shifts from 7am-5pm, Days schedule dependent on patient volumes
• Complete 36-40 hours per week as required
• Participate in holiday rotation with Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day off
• Complete required health screenings including fit testing and drug screening
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening through 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass required physical/health statement and color vision testing
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Maintain compliance with GSA/OIG and EPLS requirements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and skills checklist
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete system access requirements and security agreements
• Maintain professional integrity and audit compliance
• Provide valid motor vehicle report when required
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure forms
• Maintain NSO professional liability coverage
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
