Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate imaging equipment including Siemens and Phillips systems
• Conduct angioplasty, angiograms, and stent placement procedures
• Perform TAVR, Watchman, and MitraClip procedures
• Execute specialized procedures including ablations, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and kyphoplasty
• Conduct peripheral procedures, biopsies, and drainage procedures
• Perform upper and lower extremity, abdominal, pelvic, and genitourinary studies
• Manage vascular access and neurological studies
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring during procedures
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKGs
• Operate portable equipment, C-Arms, and contrast administration
• Document procedures using EPIC charting system
• Provide care for pediatric through geriatric patient populations
• Respond to call requirements as scheduled
• Float to different units as needed
• Maintain current BLS certification and fluoroscopy permit
• Complete 40-hour orientation program
• Comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
