Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, and musculoskeletal imaging with and without contrast • Operate 64 slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 64 slice GE lightspeed equipment • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for procedures • Provide CT services for emergency department patients and outpatients • Perform specialized procedures including coronary CTA, brain perfusion, biopsies, and vascular imaging • Maintain current BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, and CT certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions • Assist with patient transport when needed • Work with diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Handle high volume workload in primary stroke receiving center environment • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Float between facilities within the state as required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
