Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading SNF in Roswell, NM. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing care in skilled nursing facility setting
• Work night shift hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and document changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Respond to patient emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
• Supervise and coordinate care with nursing assistants and support staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain current nursing licensure and required certifications
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NM
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
