Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician - OB/GYN to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Flint, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 24 hour call coverage for OB/GYN services
• Deliver obstetric and gynecologic care for approximately 5 patients per day
• Work with hospital support staff to ensure quality patient care
• Utilize CERNERS electronic health record system for patient documentation
• Provide care in Nursery Level I setting
• Clock in/out using Kronos system for time tracking
• Maintain Board Certification in OBGYN
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain valid Michigan state license
• Maintain current DEA registration
• Complete required employee health requirements including vaccinations and screenings
• Comply with credentialing requirements and maintain clean background
• Complete facility orientation at reduced rate compensation
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Work 24-hour shifts from 7am to 7am
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
