Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound scans independently including vascular (DVT), pelvic, OB, RUQ, renal, scrotum, carotid, appendix, aorta, and portal vein studies
• Support emergency department and inpatient ultrasound needs
• Work independently during overnight hours from 10p-7a
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient records
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Work weekend track midnight shifts (Friday and Saturday 6:30p-7a)
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain valid professional licensure and certifications
• Complete required health screenings and vaccinations
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
