Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist
• Treat patients with modalities and exercise in accordance with patient's medical needs and with an approved treatment plan
• Understand limitations as an assistant and work within scope of practice
• Assist in maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner
• Complete all documentation of daily notes and discharge data
• Provide care for patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations
• Work some weekends and holidays as required
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
• Maintain valid Oklahoma state licensure
• Work 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM shift
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
