Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Med Surg to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Dyersville, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in Med Surg unit
• Work every third weekend and holiday rotation including at least 1 holiday during assignment
• Utilize ER and Med/Surg experience in patient care delivery
• Maintain current nursing license and required certifications
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct requirements
• Complete specialty specific competency testing
• Maintain required immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass color vision and physical health assessments
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Pass Joint Commission testing and skills checklist assessments
• Complete Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Maintain current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
• Pass 10 panel drug screening
• Complete system access and patient confidentiality agreements
• Adhere to conflict of interest disclosure requirements
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 06:00 PM to 06:30 AM
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
