Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound examinations and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Work weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday with 12-hour duration
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete required onboarding documentation and compliance forms
• Undergo mandatory health screenings including drug testing and fit testing
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass criminal background check and complete education verification
• Complete skills checklist and competency assessments
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Complete required training modules and Joint Commission testing
• Participate in integrity and audit compliance processes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MD
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
