Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures using Siemens equipment • Conduct various CT scans including head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis with and without contrast • Prepare and administer contrast media safely • Perform specialized CT procedures such as CT angiography, coronary CTA, and CT arthrography • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when required • Utilize 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection and volume rendering • Conduct multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest measurements (ROI) • Provide imaging services for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics • Work in emergency department, acute care, and outpatient settings • Perform trauma imaging including musculoskeletal and head trauma cases • Conduct specialized studies such as CT enterography and virtual colonoscopy • Maintain radiation safety protocols and practices • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Float to affiliate hospitals as required • Work rotating weekends and commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT registration • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams • Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols • Provide quality patient care in trauma level environments
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
