Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading SNF in Silver City, NM. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant in skilled nursing facility setting
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status changes
• Support patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Assist with feeding and nutrition support for patients
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare team members
• Respond to patient calls and provide emotional support
• Maintain patient dignity and privacy at all times
• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:30
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Participate in continuing education and training programs
• Maintain current CNA certification and required credentials
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NM
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
