Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading Hospital in Albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Work independently performing ER and inpatient radiologic examinations
• Operate Carestream radiologic equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Utilize EPIC system for patient documentation and workflow management
• Maintain current ARRT certification and valid state licensure
• Work Sunday through Thursday 11pm to 7am shift schedule
• Cover holiday requirement on 12/31 from 11pm to 7am
• Complete required health screenings including fit testing and drug screening
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete Trinity-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required background checks and verification processes
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Maintain professional liability coverage through Trinity NSO
• Complete annual influenza vaccination when available
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
