Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading SNF in St. Albans, VT. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant in skilled nursing facility
• Work night shift hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work every other weekend as required
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and observations
• Assist with feeding and hydration needs of residents
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout shift
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare team members
• Follow facility policies and procedures for patient care
• Maintain current CNA certification and required training
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Assist with transfers and positioning of patients as needed
• Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly
• Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in VT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
