Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading $facility_type$ in Camden, ME. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant in skilled nursing facility
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status
• Assist with feeding and nutritional support for residents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, patients, and families
• Assist with transferring and positioning patients safely
• Support patients with toileting and incontinence care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Maintain patient dignity and privacy during all care activities
• Participate in care plan meetings and patient assessments
• Ensure clean and organized patient living environments
• Work night shift hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Follow all facility policies and procedures for resident care
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ME
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
