Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Springfield, MA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for labor and delivery patients
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Maintain AWHONN advanced certification or C-EFM certification within the last year
• Work 36 hours per week every other weekend
• Complete license/certificate verification requirements
• Undergo required fit testing for personal protective equipment
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct Form and compliance documentation
• Complete Trinity I9 verification process
• Sign confidentiality agreement for patient and proprietary information
• Complete Trinity Integrity and Audit Services Form
• Pass specialty specific competency testing
• Complete skills checklist assessment
• Maintain required immunization records including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete physical/health statement examination
• Pass 9-panel drug screening
• Submit Trinity Profile documentation
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure form
• Pass criminal background check
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete Joint Commission testing requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access authorization forms
• Work night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Maintain valid nursing license with verification
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
