Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading SNF in Albuquerque, NM. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing assistance and patient care services in a skilled nursing facility
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Support patients during meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and observations
• Communicate patient status changes and concerns to nursing staff
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe patient environment
• Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision of licensed nurses
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 06:00 to 18:00
• Maintain current CNA certification and required continuing education
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NM
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
