Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures and examinations
• Work Monday through Friday varied day shifts (6:30-3, 7-3:30, 8-4:30, and 8:30-5)
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for Saturday and Sunday
• Complete Trinity 9 Panel Drug Screen and maintain compliance
• Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and professional standards
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information per system security agreement
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for nuclear medicine
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon)
• Undergo fingerprinting and background check processes
• Obtain PA Child Abuse Clearance certification
• Complete PATCH requirements and skills checklist
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination status
• Ensure MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunizations are current
• Complete annual fit testing for respiratory protection
• Undergo physical/health statement evaluation
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure documentation
• Maintain current professional licensure and certification verification
• Complete Joint Commission testing requirements
• Participate in continuing education and competency assessments
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in PA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
