Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery unit
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct Form and compliance documentation
• Maintain current nursing license and complete license verification
• Complete Trinity specialty specific competency testing
• Utilize Trinity skills checklist and demonstrate required competencies
• Complete Joint Commission testing requirements
• Adhere to Trinity policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Complete required health screenings including PPD/IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Maintain current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination status
• Complete 10 panel drug screening as required
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete physical/health statement and fit testing
• Work assigned shift schedule from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
• Complete Trinity system access forms and maintain confidentiality agreements
• Provide education verification and complete background check requirements
• Complete OFAC, EPLS, GSA/OIG compliance screening
• Maintain NSO professional liability coverage
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MD
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
