Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Mount Clemens, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency care, intensive care, and therapeutic treatment
• Deliver invasive and non-invasive monitoring services for patients with pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Conduct diagnostic testing for respiratory conditions
• Provide patient education regarding pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities
• Work with ventilators as required
• Perform EKG procedures and interpretation
• Work every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
• Maintain current NBRC certification
• Maintain valid Michigan state licensure
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
