Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading LTC in Follansbee, WV. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide certified nursing assistant services to patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs as directed by nursing staff
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and charts
• Assist with patient transfers and positioning
• Provide basic patient comfort measures and emotional support
• Maintain patient safety and infection control protocols
• Communicate patient status changes to supervisory nursing staff
• Assist with feeding and nutritional support as needed
• Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
• Follow all facility policies and procedures
• Participate in continuing education and training programs
• Maintain current CNA certification and required credentials
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members
• Respond to patient calls and requests promptly
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WV
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
