Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Service Tech - Service Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading LTC in Seattle, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide dietary services as a Dietary Technician in an outpatient facility setting
• Maintain current BLS certification throughout assignment
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation and computerized documentation
• Monitor patient food and nutrition intake for adults and geriatric populations
• Maintain and manage census and diet cards
• Ensure proper delivery of meals to patients
• Monitor and document food temperature logs
• Manage refrigerator and freezer temperature monitoring
• Handle storage and ordering of dietary supplies
• Conduct calorie counts as required
• Communicate effectively with Registered Dietitians (RD) and Registered Nurses (RN)
• Follow dietary guidelines and protocols
• Identify and monitor nutrient deficiencies
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Float between facilities within the state as assigned
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for dietary service delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
