Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Orange, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology technologist duties in an acute care hospital setting
• Maintain current state licensure with at least 1 year of experience required
• Work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Float between all facilities within the assigned state as required
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Perform duties using facility-provided communication devices when required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Maintain professional standards in accordance with acute care hospital requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
