Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday including Labor Day
• Complete Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Submit required state reporting documentation
• Complete OFAC compliance requirements
• Demonstrate competency through specialty-specific skills checklist
• Maintain current license and certificate verification
• Complete required fit testing for respiratory protection
• Pass drug screening requirements
• Adhere to facility code of conduct policies
• Complete I9 employment verification documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Participate in integrity and audit compliance processes
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for ICU practice
• Meet color vision requirements for safe patient care
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination status
• Provide proof of MMR immunization
• Maintain Hepatitis B vaccination compliance
• Complete tuberculosis screening through PPD or IGRA testing
• Provide proof of Varicella immunity
• Complete physical examination and health statement
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure documentation
• Pass criminal background check requirements
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete EPLS screening requirements
• Pass GSA/OIG background screening
• Complete Joint Commission safety and quality testing
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access and security training
• Respond to COVID-19 health screening questionnaires
• Work night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
