Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Flint, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform dialysis catheter procedures including permacaths and quintons • Conduct medport placements • Assist with emergency embolizations • Perform kyphoplasty procedures • Conduct nephrotomy tube insertions • Perform ureteral stent insertions • Assist with biliary drain procedures • Conduct abdominal drain procedures • Perform core biopsies • Assist with cholecystectomy drain procedures • Maintain current ARRT RT(R) certification • Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification • Provide on-call coverage every other week from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday • Provide on-call coverage every other week for 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday • Complete skills checklist within one year of application • Maintain valid state licensure • Utilize interventional radiology equipment and procedures safely and effectively • Collaborate with medical staff during procedures • Document procedures and patient information accurately
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
