Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiology technician duties in interventional radiology specialty
• Provide specialized care for neuro/stroke procedures and patients
• Work scheduled shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Be available for on-call coverage from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays
• Provide on-call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on weekends
• Maintain on-call availability every other week (10-15 days per month)
• Complete required drug screening and health assessments
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete all required compliance documentation and forms
• Undergo skills assessment and competency verification
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete tuberculosis screening via PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo comprehensive background checks and verification processes
• Complete motor vehicle record verification
• Comply with professional conduct standards and integrity requirements
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security agreements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in FL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
