Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Work 40 hours with weekend rotation schedule
• Provide on-call coverage as required
• Work assigned shifts from 0900-1730
• Complete Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete required compliance and reporting forms
• Undergo skills checklist and competency testing
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain required health screenings including fit testing
• Complete and maintain required vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella)
• Complete tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA testing)
• Pass required drug screening
• Complete physical/health statement requirements
• Undergo criminal background check verification
• Complete education verification process
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission requirements
• Complete system access authorization forms
• Adhere to organizational code of conduct and integrity standards
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Complete required system security agreements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
