Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Med Surg to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Silvis, IL. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in medical surgical unit
• Maintain current RN licensure and certifications
• Complete required health screenings including 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Obtain and maintain required vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap)
• Complete mandatory drug screening and physical health assessment
• Undergo criminal background check and education verification
• Complete facility-specific training modules and competency testing
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required documentation for patient and property information security
• Participate in fit testing and color vision screening
• Work every other weekend and Memorial Day holiday coverage
• Complete specialty-specific competency assessments
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Complete required forms for system access and integrity standards
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
