Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures and technical operations
• Maintain current AART-MRI certification
• Work scheduled shift hours including every other weekend
• Complete respiratory fit testing and evaluation requirements
• Maintain current tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Complete and maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete color vision testing requirements
• Undergo and pass drug screening
• Complete annual physical/health statement
• Maintain valid professional licensure and certification
• Complete continuing education and training requirements
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and policies
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Complete background checks and compliance screenings
• Participate in integrity and audit processes as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
