Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services and patient care
• Maintain current respiratory therapist certification and state licensure
• Work every 3rd weekend as scheduled
• Work July 4th holiday as required
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete Trinity OFAC and Code of Conduct requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and property information per system security agreement
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Undergo required health screenings including fit test, color vision, and physical/health statement
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, TB screening, and Varicella
• Complete 9-panel drug screening and background check requirements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance documentation
• Participate in integrity and audit services processes
• Complete education verification and professional profile requirements
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for respiratory therapy services
• Complete all required onboarding documentation and certifications
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
