Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PTA - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading SNF in Chambersburg, PA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions as directed by the supervising PT
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
• Maintain current PTA licensure and required certifications
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Assist with patient assessments and data collection as appropriate
• Provide patient and family education on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in PA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
