Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services as a Physical Therapist Assistant under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions for patients
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately and timely
• Maintain current PTA licensure and required certifications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Provide quality patient care in accordance with established standards
• Maintain professional competency through continuing education requirements
• Assist with patient mobility, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as directed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
