Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Case Management to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide case management services as a Registered Nurse in acute care hospital setting
• Perform hospital discharge planning duties with recent acute care experience within the last 2 years
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule with rotating weekends
• Maintain current RN licensure and complete license verification requirements
• Complete required drug screening and fit testing as part of onboarding process
• Obtain and maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccines
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo criminal background check and complete all compliance documentation
• Complete skills checklist and competency assessments
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required education verification and professional reference checks
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and mandatory training programs
• Complete physical examination and health statement requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure and integrity compliance forms
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MD
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
