Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading LTC in Camden, ME. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide licensed practical nursing care to patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and condition changes
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and registered nurses
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Provide patient education and support
• Assist with patient mobility and activities of daily living
• Maintain current LPN licensure and required certifications
• Participate in continuing education and training programs
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ME
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
