Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Missoula, MT. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform surgical technician duties with no first-timer restrictions - NBSTSA certification required
• Provide obstetrics technical support and scrub in for cesarean sections
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios during surgical procedures
• Work variable weekend schedules as required
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (average 16 hours, non-billable)
• Self-report time spent on training modules through Workramp transcripts
• Maintain valid MT or Compact state licensure at time of submission
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Complete compliance documentation by Monday prior to start date
• Adhere to facility policies including scrub color requirements (scrubs provided in sterile units)
• Follow RTO and scheduling request protocols established during submittal process
• Prepare to float within the facility as needed
• Comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements as specified
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
