Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietician - Dietician to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading SNF in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nutritional assessment and care planning for rehabilitation patients, LTAC, and STAC patient populations
• Maintain current BLS certification and valid state dietitian license throughout assignment
• Utilize Epic charting system for all nutritional documentation and patient records
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (average 16 hours, non-billable time self-reported)
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Provide nutritional care for patients with critical illness recovery and rehabilitation conditions including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and orthopedic conditions
• Manage dietary needs for patients across 10-bed LTACH/ICU, 46-bed inpatient rehabilitation, and up to 4 in-house hemodialysis patients
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Complete all required compliance documentation and certifications
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices for work-related duties when required
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (scrubs or business casual)
• Work guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period with 5x8 day shifts
• Self-report time spent on training modules and maintain completion records in Workramp transcripts
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
