Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services as a licensed Respiratory Therapist
• Work every third weekend and one holiday within contract period
• Complete required health screenings including 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination status
• Complete mandatory training programs including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Maintain current professional licensure and certification verification
• Complete skills checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Undergo criminal background check and maintain compliance with security requirements
• Complete required immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete annual influenza vaccination when required
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Comply with facility codes of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required documentation including conflict of interest disclosures
• Pass fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Maintain system access credentials and security protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
