Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Baker City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services during 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
• Be available for on-call duties from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Deliver respiratory care for newborn and high-risk delivery patients
• Maintain current respiratory therapist certification and state licensure
• Complete fit testing and maintain proper use of respiratory protection equipment
• Undergo required drug screening and health assessments
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Maintain current tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA)
• Comply with vaccination requirements including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual physical and health statement documentation
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete criminal background check and education verification processes
• Pass Joint Commission testing requirements
• Complete system access and security training requirements
• Participate in integrity and audit compliance processes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
