Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency room nursing care as a registered nurse in a resource/float position
• Maintain current RN licensure and ensure license verification
• Complete Trinity Profile for submission requirements
• Undergo comprehensive onboarding including drug screening, background checks, and health clearances
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass color vision testing and physical/health statement requirements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance training
• Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Maintain motor vehicle report clearance for transportation requirements
• Complete education verification and professional reference checks
• Comply with conflict of interest disclosure requirements
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Maintain NSO professional liability coverage
• Complete system access forms and security agreements
• Float between units and departments as needed in resource capacity
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
