Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - LTC to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading LTC in Santa Fe, NM. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor vital signs and document patient observations
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Maintain patient safety and comfort at all times
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare team members
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
• Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly
• Assist with feeding and nutrition support as needed
• Follow established care plans and physician orders
• Maintain current CNA certification and required training
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NM
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
