Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Cottonwood, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services to acute care patients with medical diagnoses
• Manage moderate to maximum assist patients requiring comprehensive care
• Conduct patient evaluations and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day as needed
• Work with ventilated patients and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Perform co-treatments with other healthcare professionals
• Float to surrounding clinics and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work Tuesday through Saturday schedule with weekend day requirement
• Maintain current Arizona physical therapy license
• Maintain current BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• Obtain and maintain Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Utilize Cerner charting system for patient documentation
• Adhere to business casual dress code requirements
• Work in 7-day per week department operations
• Pivot easily between different patient needs and treatment priorities
• Comply with facility quality and patient safety standards
• Complete required compliance modules and training during orientation
• Provide two professional references covering required timeframes
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
