Cath Lab Technologist

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (4x10-hour shifts, 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM)
Weekend Requirements: On-call

Certifications & Licenses (REQUIRED):
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- ARRT or RCIS (required for Cath Lab)
- Active Alaska License (must be active for offer)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Skills: Hemodynamic monitoring, obtaining vitals, coil embolization; IR and peripheral experience preferred
Unit Information:
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath (STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, Structural Heart: PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)
- Interventional Radiology (lines, drains, embolizations, extremities, visceral angio/intervention, stroke thrombectomy)
- Neurointervention and CRM device implants
Preferred Experience:
- CTO, venous access, rhythm interpretation
- Philips X-Ray system, variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, temporary LVAD support
- Familiarity with McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP
Additional Notes:
- Locals not accepted (candidate’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility)
- Open to accommodating block scheduling
- Time off: Only 1 request per 13-week assignment, approved on a case-by-case basis
- Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks)
