Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery required
- Previous charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge
- Experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery units preferred
License & Certification Required
- AK RN license (must have license in hand for Auto Offer)
- BLS
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate
- AWHONN Advanced
- NRP
Skills Required

- Administering blood & blood products
- Antepartum care
- Assisting with high-risk deliveries
- Cesarean section care
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Use of Episiotomy/Incisional care
- Use of External Fetal Monitoring
- Vaginal delivery management
- Pitocin (oxytocin) administration
- Foley catheter insertion/management
- Charting experience in Epic
Desired Skills
- Willingness to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals
- Experience with high-risk antepartum patients
- Experience with multiple births and gestations preferred
- Breastfeeding support/lactation support
- Comfortable using Nitrous Oxide for pain management
