Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience required
- Must have experience working in a critical access hospital
- Experience in surgical services required, able to follow the patient through from preop to discharge
License & Certification Required
- Valid MT or Compact RN license
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
Skills Required
- Ability to circulate C-sections
- Experience with abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy procedures
- Administration of blood and blood products
- Experience with ambulatory OR
- Familiarity with C-sections
- Cardiac monitoring
- Conscious sedation monitoring
- Therapeutic abortion
- Wound management
- Understanding of universal protocol (time out) procedures
- Epic EMR experience
Desired Skills
- Experience with laparoscopic assisted procedures
- Infection control knowledge
- Experience in general OR, ortho, ob-gyn, and ENT surgical services
